This year's Cneifio Bont Shears was certainly a very successful event with shearers coming from far and wide to compete in this increasingly popular competition. The Intermediate class was once again sponsored by Agrimin and it was evident that the standard of shearing in the final was very high. The event also held the very first (we believe) test between Wales and the Falkland Islands with Jeff Jenkins and Prys Lewis of Wales narrowly taking the win from the tough Falkland Islanders James Butler and Rob Ferguson.
